With “cloud” as the theme, three-dimensional drawing and paper as materials, four different handmade “books” are created, which mainly express four different modes of cloud: stack and dark, light and vitality, change and hazy, ethereal and lonely.

Cloud pattern is a typical kind of colorful decorative patterns in China. It is widely decorated in ancient buildings, carvings, costumes, utensils and various handicrafts. The long-term collection and cultivation practice of ancient people has produced expectation and awe for the influence of cloud and rain on the harvest. Therefore, cloud has been sublimated and abstracted in people’s hearts.
